Different ways to receive Energy

There are a number of ways that allow us to receive universal energy:

Some very common activities create situations where we either get a false sense of Ki enrichment or we can experience Ki being sucked from our bodies:

The biggest amount of Ki can be lost by our own individual sense of self importance. Our sense of importance can be outwardly positive or outwardly negative, and lead to Ego clashes, drama triangles emotional neediness and desires for recognition. We can crave attention with a sense of “Look at me” or with a sense of “Poor Me”.

We can actually save the biggest amount of energy if we manage to drop our own sense of self importance. That journey is quickly followed by dropping our personal history (also called baggage). Once we let these go, its amazing how much our energy levels recover, since we are no longer wasting energy maintaining our false identities.

The more energy you retain, the more that energy enhances you. It can be used to fuel activities and enhance your perception.

Imagine your Average John, who’s attitude is fashioned around how he looks and what people think about him. John uses his energy to maintain his looks, appearances, public persona and other people’s perception of him. Sounds exhausting doesn’t it? John uses all of his energy to appear a certain way; to maintain that particular image; and to make sure people think about him in a particular way. The energy levels required to maintain that outward appearance, means that John cannot access the finer frequencies, improve is own perception, or upgrade himself. Metaphysically, he remains dulled and unable to feel or perceive energy; so if he were to perhaps receive a Reiki session, he would probably not be able to feel anything.

If John were able, or assisted, to drop the grip on his identity, and stop caring about what people think of him, stop worrying about his looks, and his image; and started to accumulate energy via Ki Gong and the like; in a short period of time he’d be able to feel energy.

There are various traditions that promote developing a “watcher’s consciousness, “becoming the observer” of our own thoughts and actions; or becoming the witness. This state has varying degrees, but ultimately it enables us to observe how we move from our core into the world. As we gain more energy, we can include this skill amongst our own personal repertoire of behaviours. If John could start watching himself, he may soon realise that a lot of his emotions were the result of an earlier traumatic childhood. Perhaps, not being validated as a child or even only having certain behaviours validated. This is an over simplification of what could be a more serious condition, but it merely illustrates a point of being able to connect the dots that his current behaviour may be a feeling of not being safe, seen or recognised.

Dealing with his childhood trauma and releasing the grief towards his parent or relative who never praised or recognised him is another process that John could undertake. If he is brave enough to tackle this, he’ll soon start to notice he is carrying less of an energetic burden, and may now be able to feel Ki energy way more freely. He may also start to experience other ESP phenomena.

Having much more energy at his disposal will allow John to begin working on dropping his personal history - the story we all carry about the events we feel define us. John may realise that after releasing the burden of the past, it no longer really matters who he thought he was, it doesn’t matter what he did or what happened to him, and he can see it for the learning experience that he called in for his own growth.

John may no longer take pride in his race, nationality, social status, or achievements from the past. He focuses more on being present, and consciously works on releasing his personal history. John may begin to suddenly hear the plant kingdom, elementals, or angelic beings talking to him, he may experience the spirit world, he perhaps now has clear insights into his dreams and begins to manifest his desires. This being a direct result of saving and building up enough energy rather than learning specific short cut techniques.

Hopefully, John’s experience will help you understand more about the work we and many of our energy trainers are doing and perhaps will motivate you to work on developing your energy.
